Waberer’s and the International Children’s Safety Service (ICSS) have been running a scholarship program together since 2007. This programme provides support to 30 disadvantaged but excellent students every month, even outside the school year.
This year’s face-to-face meeting will be missed due to the COVID virus situation, but the company won’t leave its fellows without a gift either: it will deliver 1-1 tablets to them through the ICSS.
Thanks to the program, children and young people with excellent results but disadvantaged social opportunities can start life with similar opportunities as their happier peers.
Just like last year, 2021 turned out to be extraordinary, and the difficulties caused by COVID posed special challenges for school-age children and their parents - Waberer’s, with this year’s gift, the tablet, seeks to make it easier for children to learn at home.
